ProfitBase's was founded in 2000 and based in Sandnes, Norway, it has produced solutions which leverage the power of Microsoft SQL Server 2005

and Analysis Services to deliver performance information to scorecard, dashboard and reporting systems providing decision makers with a single consolidated view of the information they need to quickly analyse their performance and make better, faster decisions.

Using BI as the starting point for Business Performance Management it has removed the cumbersome and costly installs that litter this end of the market. This however can be overcome by the simplification of a users own OLAP cubes and ensuring that the configuration of the data warehousing is correct before installation of Profitbase.
