In January 2005, the company set up a specialist independent software vendor (ISV) operation. This investment was designed to produce leading edge vertical application packages based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV (formerly known as Navision) platform. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is the software giant’s flagship mid-range enterprise resource planning (ERP) application suite. It is now used by over 90,000 companies worldwide and has a large base in the food industry. LINKFresh is the first product of the ISV operation and is already establishing a reputation as a leading packaged business management system for the UK fresh food sector. LINKFresh has won the title of UK Vertical Solution of the Year in 2007, 2008 & 2009. LINKFresh was also won the ISV Vertical Market Category at the 2011 IT Europa European IT Excellence Awards.
