Scott Mertes, a Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Trainer, has been in the Microsoft channel for over 25 years. Scott participated in the Microsoft Sure Step Team that was instrumental in the creative process of developing Sure Step. He co-authored the “Microsoft Project Management Essentials for Microsoft Dynamics” class that was licensed and taught by Microsoft. Scott was the primary Instructor for the “Train the Trainer” program for the Microsoft Sure Step program and has worked with various focus groups for AX 2009 & 2012 training classes and content. Scott has owned two Microsoft Partner Practices that became multi-million dollar operations. He is currently working with the Microsoft Training Team to help further develop a program for hiring new college graduates into the channel.

After scoring All India Rank 6 in the national-level entrance test called GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in 2003, he got through in prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (India) in M.Tech (Instrumentation Engineering). In 2005, he started his professional career as Navision Technical Consultant with PwC, India. Currently Dhan Raj works as a Freelance NAV Developer and Business Analyst. He has worked for clients in the US, UK, Denmark, Australia, Dubai, Nigeria, and India. Dhan Raj is an active member of the online communities for NAV, such as dynamicsuser.net, mibuso.com, and the online forums managed by Microsoft. For his contributions to these online communities, he received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award in July 2010. Dick started working in 2001 for Navision Netherlands where he was giving technical trainings and managing escalations at partner support. He became member of the localisation team of Dynamics AX when Navision became part of Microsoft. His career continued for a short period at Watermark and for the last past years Dick is working for Crimsonwing Promentum where he’s part of skilled team responsible for ramping up Partners on Dynamics AX. Carsten Howitz commenced his Dynamics career in 1990 when he began his employment for a Navision value added reseller (VAR) in Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1994, he founded DataPro Group, a premier Navision VAR in Denmark, where he successfully nurtured the business into a team of 75 employees in offices located in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. DataPro Group providing software sales and support, delivering hundreds of Navisionprojects, in Northern Europe and Africa. In 2001, he relocated and continued his entrepreneurial pursuits in the United States where he founded SimCrest, Inc in Dallas, Texas. SimCrest is a Dynamics NAV reseller which has flourished under his guidance and developed a strong customer base. Recognizing that customers had additional functionality requirements not found in standard ERP packages, he led SimCrest to additionally become a premier World-wide Industry Solution Vendor (ISV),which has designed, developed, and sold many successful Dynamics Add-ons such as Print2Excel, Credit Card Management, Product Configurator, and eBank Reconciliation. To address the further need for accessing Dynamics NAV on SmartPhones, Carsten established Qiwi Mobility LLC in 2009.Today, Qiwi, for both iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, is the only fully customizable mobile solution for Dynamics NAV.
